About United Energy Workers Healthcare:
We are a dedicated group committed to delivering outstanding care. Our organization has a unique foundation, stemming from the grandchildren of a former Department of Energy employee. Their dedication to ensuring their grandfather received exceptional care inspires us to support the energy worker community.

We are currently seeking Home Health Aide contractors who resonate with our core values. Your responsibilities will include providing standard healthcare services within the client's home for the approved duration of care. The patient is eligible for up to 50 hours of care weekly, allowing for flexible scheduling and requiring multiple caregivers. No specialized certifications are required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow the care plan to ensure safe and effective client care.
  • Assist with personal hygiene and maintain a healthy, secure environment.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
  • Support approved client mobility.
  • Encourage client independence as outlined in the care plan.
  • Enhance client mental alertness through engaging activities.
  • Provide emotional and psychological support while upholding client trust and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client health or home environment to the supervisor.
  • Perform routine housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and comfortable client setting.
  • Document progress notes promptly.
  • Coordinate weekly visit schedules with other staff members.
  • Collaborate with community agency personnel involved in client care.
  • Attend mandatory in-service training as required by state regulations.
  • Communicate with the RN Case Manager regarding client care and status.
  • Report any changes in client condition immediately to the RN Case Manager.
  • Operate within the defined scope of practice for Home Aides.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of state-mandated training hours, if applicable.
  • Proficiency in computer and internet applications for documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
  • Basic knowledge of client-related equipment for safe usage.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Good health status without risks to clients or colleagues.
  • Understanding of personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation fundamentals.
  • Commitment to client confidentiality and ethical standards.
