Job Description

At Jacobs, we're committed to making a positive impact on the world. As an Engineering Design Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering infrastructure design documents that meet our high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a talented team of professionals to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage design delivery resources to meet client needs and contractual requirements
  • Monitor and control design scope, schedule, and cost variances
  • Develop and implement recommendations for corrective action and proactive change management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or other applicable Engineering disciplines
  • At least 4-5 years of engineering and design experience in water-related design disciplines
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Strong design development and management skills
  • Progressive experience developing engineering design drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of engineering and design experience in water-related disciplines
  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
  • Experience with design-build projects and/or other alternative delivery approaches
