POSITION SUMMARY:
As a key member of Nino's LLC, the Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and safety within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Clean criminal background
- Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is mandatory
- Clear TB test results and a physical examination are required
- Prior experience in maintenance and custodial services is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish
- Resident of the local area
- Compassionate attitude towards underserved communities
- Ensure restrooms are sanitized according to established protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of furniture and flooring
- Prepare venues for various events and activities
- Conduct floor maintenance tasks
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools
- Lock and unlock facilities as necessary
- Monitor building security and report any anomalies
- Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and supplies
- Additional tasks include debris removal, furniture rearrangement, and window cleaning
- Maintain outdoor spaces and support community initiatives focused on children's welfare and education
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and special projects as directed by management
