Electrical Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our team at Southern Home Services. As an Electrical Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing residential service work, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, and effectively communicating with customers to provide options for repair and/or replacement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform residential service work, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems.
  • Effectively communicate with customers to provide options for repair and/or replacement.
Requirements:
  • Great attitude with a dedication to quality work.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and innovative team player.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
  • 5+ years of electrical experience, preferably in the residential market.

This is a physically demanding job that requires the Electrical Service Technician to perform work in environments that may include exposure to heat, cold, dust, small and tight spaces, requiring climbing ladders to access, lifting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, etc. and exposure to varied conditions in residential homes.
