Job Description

The Lead Project Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the design, analysis, and testing of GE Rockford products. This includes new product development, field issues, research, and production support. The successful candidate will have expertise in pneumatic, hydraulic, or fuel actuated valves and will be responsible for executing projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Subject matter expert on pneumatic, hydraulic, or fuel actuated valves
  • Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects
  • Leader in new product development, de-risking of a technology, and directing technical team members
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers and how work integrates with other teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or fuel actuated valves
  • 8+ years of experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or fuel actuated valves (preferred)
