Key Responsibilities
  • Meal Delivery: Load, convey, and deliver meals from the Westside Club to various clubs per schedule, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
  • Professional Interaction: Engage in professional interactions with employees and maintain a positive working relationship.
  • Food Verification: Count and verify the food delivery order prior to leaving the kitchen to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the BGCSLC vehicle and ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Logistics and Administration: Log transport details and process paperwork as required.
  • Food Service Support: Assist with daily food service in the kitchen as directed by the kitchen manager and support staff on the food truck and catering events as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Food Truck Operations: Drive the 35 ft. food truck/trailer to various sites/events as scheduled, and be responsible for hooking up and breaking down the food trailer.
  • Training and Development: Actively participate in mandatory Boys & Girls Club trainings and All Staff meetings.
  • Special Events: Occasionally may be required to work special events promoted by the organization during evenings and/or weekends.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Certifications: None specified.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Follow the policies, procedures, and rules of the organization, possess safe driving skills, effective communication skills, and be detail-oriented.
Working Conditions

The Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Lucie County is a fast-paced work environment with varying schedules and locations. The successful candidate will be required to work in different locations in St. Lucie County and adapt to changing business demands.

Physical Demands
  • The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, stooping/kneeling, reaching with hands and arms, and finger dexterity.
  • This position requires extended talking, listening, and sitting, walking, and standing; regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.
