Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety.
- Take and record patient vital signs on patients of all ages.
- Have knowledge of how to record patient information using an electronic medical record system.
- Make confirmation telephone calls for next day appointments.
- Perform point of care testing applicable to patients' needs during their appointment.
- Work closely with nursing staff and physicians to ensure smooth patient flow and create positive teamwork.
- High School Diploma
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Successful completion of medical terminology course within six (6) months of start date in position
- 2 Years related experience
