Job Summary

Bancroft is seeking a highly skilled Admissions Specialist to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ. Key Responsibilities
  • Liaison to Referral Sources: Develop and maintain relationships with various referral sources, including school district representatives, case managers, social workers, insurance companies, and families, to identify potential admissions.
  • Facilitate Admission Process: Follow established standards and regulations to process referrals and potential admissions, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients and families.
  • Represent Bancroft: Attend external conferences and events to network, promote, and generate interest in Bancroft's programs and services.
  • Present Programs and Services: Provide current and factual information about Bancroft's programs and services to referring sources, including therapeutic interventions, educational, vocational, residential, and supported employment programs.
  • Coordinate On-Site Tours: Arrange and coordinate on-site tours of facilities as necessary to facilitate the admission process.
  • Interact with Referral Sources: Regularly interact with referral sources to respond to inquiries, explain pre-admission/admission procedures and processes, and gather necessary information for potential admissions.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Maintain the strict confidentiality of all information and serve as a facilitator between various agencies, family members, and legal guardians to expedite the admission process.
  • Track and Follow Up: Track the status of potential admissions and follow up with referral sources as necessary to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required, with a Bachelor's degree in a related professional field preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of related experience, preferably within the Bancroft organization.
