Job Summary

The CT Scan Technologist is a critical member of our Imaging Department team at NavitsPartners. This role requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to perform complex computer tomography (CT) procedures, producing high-quality images for interpretation and assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procedure Performance: Conduct complex CT procedures in accordance with established protocols and patient needs, ensuring accurate and efficient image acquisition.
  • Patient Safety and Preparation: Verify patient prescriptions, administer contrast media as prescribed, and prepare patients for scanning, including shielding and immobilization devices.
  • Image Analysis and Documentation: Evaluate radiographs in the PACS system, ensuring proper identification and diagnostic value, and document patient information and exam results accurately.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to obtain additional information or new prescriptions, and provide exam copies to patients, physicians, and family members.
  • Administrative Tasks: Schedule and verify insurance for exams, ensure accurate documentation, and gather information from medical records and healthcare providers to prepare protocols for patient safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program and high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License, ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license, and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Experience: Six months of CT experience preferred, with knowledge of EPIC and HIS/RIS systems.
