We are seeking a highly skilled Faculty Group Practice Physical Therapist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a member of our faculty group practice, you will be responsible for evaluating physical therapy needs and implementing comprehensive, medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to assigned patients in a supervised program of rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate physical therapy needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans for assigned patients.
- Implement medically prescribed physical therapy treatment to assigned patients in a supervised program of rehabilitation.
- Assess the educational needs of patients and families, and implement a variety of methods for patient/family education and training during the rehabilitation process.
- Complete all required documentation for patient care and reimbursement, including daily treatment records and clinical documentation.
- Participate in clinical education of fieldwork students and other professional educational endeavors.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Florida State Physical Therapy License or temporary permit.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
