Key Responsibilities:

As a culinary specialist and dietary aide, you will be responsible for preparing appetizing, nutritious, and well-balanced meals that cater to the daily dietary needs of our guests. Your duties will include:

  • Adhering to standardized recipes,
  • Preparing meals in accordance with menu cycles designed by registered dietitians,
  • Cooking and presenting meals that are visually appealing and nutritionally adequate, ensuring they are served at the right temperatures and within appropriate time frames,
  • Utilizing food supplies and equipment efficiently to minimize waste,
  • Preparing alternative food options to accommodate guest preferences,
  • Overseeing culinary staff in food storage, preparation, tray assembly, and sanitation practices.

In the absence of the head chef or dietary manager, you will take on supervisory responsibilities for the culinary team.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred,
  • At least one year of experience as a cook or dietary aide in a food service environment is preferred.
