Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at ChristianaCare.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiograms and assisting physicians in the diagnosis of cardiac disease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform 2D, M-Mode, CW, PW, and Color Flow Doppler echocardiograms
  • Accurately present completed echocardiograms to physicians
  • Demonstrate ability to recognize normal and abnormal echocardiograms
  • Prefer IV experience to perform contrast and bubble studies

Requirements

  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Certification from ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, RCVT)
  • CPR certification
