Key Responsibilities- Assist in the management of the pharmacy department and supervision of staff to provide pharmaceutical services in accordance with our mission and vision.
- Perform duties of a registered pharmacist, including reviewing and approving timecards, participating in hiring and discipline, and reassigning staff and duties as needed.
- Assist in developing and managing operating budgets, integrating pharmaceutical services into patient care, and developing orientation and training programs for new staff.
- Ensure operations comply with regulatory requirements and participate in reviewing and implementing policies and procedures to meet regulatory standards and standards of good practice.
- Master's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a hospital pharmacy residency or 2-3 years' experience as a registered pharmacist in a hospital setting.
- Current license by the State of Illinois as a Registered Pharmacist.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other hospital personnel.
