Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct continuous patrols throughout the Medical Center to identify and address potential security risks and concerns.
  • Respond promptly to security calls and take appropriate action to resolve incidents.
  • Provide continuous coverage of the Medical Center, controlling access to the area and assisting patients and visitors as needed.
  • Maintain and control access to all facilities owned or operated by Hackensack Meridian Health.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, including interviews with witnesses and collection of evidence.
  • Provide escorts to team members and visitors as requested.
  • Conduct regular inspections of outer buildings, grounds, and parking lots to identify potential security risks.
  • Inspect packages leaving the Medical Center as necessary and according to policy.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and write English fluently.
  • Valid driver's license from a USA state.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Security Officer or in law enforcement.
