We are seeking a seasoned Aquatics Director to lead our aquatic programs and team at Gold's Gym Washington. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our aquatics department.

About the Role:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the aquatics department, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our members and guests.
• Directly supervise and train aquatic personnel, including lifeguards, swim instructors, and other support staff.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and membership engagement in our aquatics programs.
• Maintain accurate records of pool chemical levels, facility maintenance, and staff certifications.
• Collaborate with community organizations to establish new aquatics programs and expand our reach within the community.
• Create and schedule swim team practices and meets, ensuring a positive experience for our athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule, and direct aquatic personnel and volunteers as needed.
• Manage the swim lesson program, including budgeting, scheduling, and auditing.
• Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations to promote our aquatics programs.

• Monitor daily pool operations to ensure compliance with state, local, and Gold's Gym health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of pool chemical levels and facility maintenance.
• Perform audits of pool systems and equipment, and facilitate repairs as needed.

• Schedule lifeguards and aquatic personnel.
• Train and certify student lifeguards and other aquatic staff.

Requirements:

• Prior experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Certification/Licensure American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR/AED Instructor Certification National Swimming Pool Foundation Certified Pool Operator Certification.
