As a Critical Care Registered Nurse in the Burn Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a high-acuity environment.

Department:
Burn Trauma Unit
Employment Type:
Full Time, PRN
Work Schedule:
Rotating shifts
Compensation:
$51.27 per hour, commensurate with experience
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum of 6 months experience in ICU or PCU nursing, or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid upon hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
- Emphasize wellness, patient-centered care, and evidence-based practices.
- Mentor and guide new healthcare professionals and nursing staff.
- Embrace continuous learning in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Ensure safety and quality at the point of care.
Critical Care Focus:
- Provide direct care in a technically advanced environment, including Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings.
- Implement evidence-based care models aligned with AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards.
