Position Overview:

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for executing a range of sanitation tasks in accordance with established protocols across various areas of the healthcare facility. This role involves procuring cleaning materials and consumables from designated storage areas, replenishing cleaning equipment carts, and managing waste disposal. Additionally, the technician will rearrange furniture as needed for specific functions within the facility.

Qualifications and Educational Background:
  1. Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent educational experience.
  2. Ability to comprehend instructions and measurements, as well as manage linen inventory.
  3. Effective verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with personnel from other departments in a courteous manner.
  4. The position necessitates physical capabilities including walking, standing, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pulling, and pushing for extended durations.
  5. Capability to lift weights of at least 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  6. Good manual dexterity is required for the role.
  7. Color discrimination ability is necessary.
