As a Credentialing Coordinator at Emonics Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and maintaining quality assurance within our healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Enforce compliance with legal, federal, and state regulations throughout the credentialing process.
2. Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports detailing credentialing activities, including accreditation and provider privileges.
3. Manage the processing of applications for initial applicants and reappointments on a quarterly basis.
4. Collect and verify substantial amounts of accreditation and verification data.
5. Maintain and update accurate provider information in the Echo database, including education, training, and licensure details.
6. Prepare materials for Credentials Committee meetings, Medical Executive Committee (MEC) sessions, and Board of Trustees meetings.
7. Ensure confidentiality of all provider information and uphold compliance with organizational bylaws.
8. Schedule and, when necessary, attend site-based medical staff department meetings, taking minutes as required.
9. Process and collect dues for site-based medical staff.
10. Track license and certification expirations for all providers, ensuring timely updates.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (1 year preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Word (1 year preferred).
Work Environment:
This position requires in-person engagement and offers a structured day shift schedule with guaranteed hours of 40 per week.
Compensation:
The role offers a competitive pay rate of $36.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of the credentialing function within our organization.
