Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Float Pool team at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton, WV. As a Regional Float LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality patient care and achieving positive clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and effective nursing care to patients, achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning, ensuring comprehensive and individualized care.
  • Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervise patient care provided by unlicensed staff, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
  • Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
