The Team

You will be part of a large team of developers responsible for all code development and quality assurance for the website. Our team uses leading-edge technology and works in an agile environment. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the growth and success of our e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities

As a Java Developer, your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring that all systems and third-party integrations are available and functioning properly
  • Learning the business environment while working in a collaborative team to achieve organizational goals
  • Working well under pressure, grasping new ideas quickly, and being able to thrive in a dynamic and diverse environment
  • Participating in an on-call rotation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • 2+ years of development experience
  • Java
  • JSP
  • JavaScript
  • HTML5
  • Relational database experience (DB2)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to work onsite at Corporate Headquarters in Little Rock, AR

What You'll Learn

In the first month, you will understand the basic flow of our site, from product pages to checkout, My Account features and functionality, etc. You will also understand our agile process, GitHub Desktop, and GitLab. In the second month, you will understand the deployment process and its role in development and production. In the third month, you will understand the Management Center's functionality and its role on our site, as well as the basic business rules related to selecting and purchasing items online.
