Position Summary:
The Physician Recruitment Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing all initiatives related to the recruitment and onboarding of primary care physicians, specialty care physicians, and midlevel practitioners for Signature Healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Uphold the dignity and respect of all patients, families, visitors, and colleagues to foster a professional and courteous environment.
+ Acknowledge and appreciate cultural diversity among all customers, both internal and external.
+ Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, considering cultural, value, belief, and age differences, and utilize interpreters when necessary.
+ Develop, plan, and implement diverse strategies to attract candidates, including local and national advertising, direct mail campaigns, and promotional events.
+ Collaborate with medical leadership and senior management to accurately represent practice opportunities.
+ Maintain comprehensive data on current job openings and prioritize staffing needs.
+ Manage the interview process, ensuring all contracts are complete and accurate.
+ Work closely with the Onboarding Committee to streamline the onboarding process.
+ Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to integrate lean methodologies into daily operations.
+ Identify potential candidates through various channels, including social media, professional societies, and databases.
+ Build and maintain relationships with residency and fellowship programs to inform candidates about available opportunities.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in dynamic situations.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Familiarity with healthcare environments and social media recruiting strategies.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities effectively.
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or healthcare background.
+ Five to seven years of direct experience in physician recruitment, including knowledge of current sourcing strategies and clinical skill sets.
Additional Qualifications:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Multi-lingual skills are a plus.
+ Some travel may be required.
