Aquatic Safety Attendant

Position Overview:
The Aquatic Safety Attendant is tasked with overseeing and ensuring the safety of individuals in the swimming pool, surrounding areas, and sauna facilities.
Essential Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, candidates must hold current certifications in advanced lifesaving and basic life support cardiopulmonary resuscitation (9 hr. CBR) from the American Red Cross or an equivalent certifying organization, adhering to the standards established by the Commissioner of Health. It is mandatory for CPR certifications to be renewed annually, while advanced lifesaving certifications must be updated every two years.
Available shifts include daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must be actively enrolled as students at Upstate Medical University and have received approval for financial aid through the Student Financial Aid office.

Applicant Information:
This position is part of the Federal Work Study program and is exclusively available to current students of Upstate Medical University who have been approved for and accepted Federal Work Study through the Financial Aid Office.
