Position Overview: This role is pivotal in overseeing monthly cash projections, cash balance assessments, intercompany loan summaries, interest income evaluations, and investment oversight, alongside various quarterly reports to support financial disclosures.

This position is responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation for intercompany loans and preparing quarterly guarantee summaries for regulatory reporting. Additionally, it involves managing bank account documentation, including account openings, signatory updates, and compliance with banking regulations. The analyst will assist in daily cash management activities and provide support to the Treasury Analyst II. The role also encompasses handling ad hoc financial analysis requests and reports to the Treasury Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis & Reporting – 40%: Collect and analyze data to forecast and monitor global cash positions, including reviewing excess cash reserves.
  • Prepare summaries for monthly investment oversight.
  • Compile, monitor, and reconcile documentation for intercompany loans, including monthly summaries.
  • Analyze monthly interest income ledger activities and assist in annual budgeting processes.
  • Prepare quarterly guarantee summaries for financial reporting, including annual stratification details.
  • Conduct peer analyses and other financial assessments as required for quarterly board meetings.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to execute impactful projects and deliver insightful analytics.
  • Independently gather and interpret large datasets from various sources to enhance operational strategies.

Cash Management – 35%:
Assist in daily domestic cash management by executing or approving foreign exchange transactions and initiating electronic fund transfers.

Act as the primary backup for the Treasury Analyst II in daily cash management tasks, including setting daily positions and making investment and borrowing decisions.

Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in investment, borrowing, and fund disbursement activities, requiring meticulous attention to detail and proper documentation.

Investigate unidentified transactions to maintain the integrity of financial records and serve as the system administrator for banking platforms.

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.


Compliance – 25%:
Collaborate with banks and internal personnel to prepare documentation for bank account openings and ongoing KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.

Maintain and update authorized signatures and documentation as necessary. Ensure all information is current for annual Foreign Bank Account Reporting (FBAR) for corporate and personal returns.

Gather data and prepare the annual UK payables compliance report.

Review audit narratives and provide requested sample data.


Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years in accounting, finance, or banking preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of management and staff.
  • A proactive self-starter with confidence, initiative, and a passion for excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:
CPA, CFA, or CTP certification is advantageous. Experience with Oracle and familiarity with analytical tools such as Tableau, Cognos, and Longview is a plus. Experience with Treasury Management Systems is also beneficial.
