Overview

Position Highlights:

Work Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week with a flexible schedule tailored to program and facility requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Chaplain, you will engage with diverse offender populations, providing essential religious services that include:

  • Administering sacraments and religious rites;
  • Preparing and delivering sermons;
  • Collaborating with visiting clergy;
  • Offering counseling to individuals and their families;
  • Working alongside facility staff to address religious matters;
  • Facilitating worship services during significant religious holidays.

The Religious Services Unit is committed to delivering a variety of worship services, religious education, and counseling to the inmate population. Our Chaplaincy staff contributes over 80,000 hours of ministry, conducting more than 20,000 worship services and providing over 50,000 counseling sessions annually.
