Key Responsibilities:
As a Chaplain, you will engage with diverse offender populations, conducting religious services and fulfilling various spiritual needs, including:
- Administering religious rites and sacraments.
- Preparing and delivering sermons.
- Collaborating with visiting clergy.
- Providing counseling to individuals and their families.
- Working alongside facility staff to address religious matters.
- Facilitating worship services during significant religious holidays.
The Religious Services Unit is dedicated to offering a wide array of worship services, religious education, and counseling to the inmate population. Each year, our Chaplaincy staff contributes over 80,000 hours of ministry, conducts more than 20,000 worship services, and provides over 50,000 counseling sessions, supported by numerous community volunteers.
