Global Category Manager

Microsoft Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Global Category Manager to join our Cloud Operations + Innovation team. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for establishing a global supply chain that can meet the ever-growing demands of Microsoft's cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:- Create multi-year sourcing strategies for data center operations, optimizing costs and ensuring sufficient supplies.
- Leverage end-to-end sourcing expertise to resolve escalations and execute sourcing strategies.
- Model efficient supplier management practices, improve evaluation frameworks, and drive corrective actions.
- Lead contract and pricing negotiation for data center operations categories.
- Drive business impact by applying market intelligence to develop and influence the adoption of channel strategies.
- Collaborate with upper-level stakeholders to ensure awareness of Service Level Agreement and deliverables.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations.
- Category Management experience in key categories, including General Contractors, Mechanical & Electrical Equipment, Construction Services, and Operations Services.
- Skilled project management experience, exceptional communication and influencing skills, and experience with global and regional planning and development.
- A competitive salary range of $94,600 - $183,800 per year.
