Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our nursing team to create a safe and supportive environment for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders and administer medications as needed
  • Start IVs, perform treatments, and special tests as required
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
  • Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of our patients.
