We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Palliative Care team at Royal Oak Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical needs, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients with medical diagnoses or surgical patients with medical complications
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, utilizing the nursing process and patient-family centered care principles
- Participate in unit decisions through a Shared Governance Model and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing Required
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years for GN or RN with less than 1 year of experience
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required within 60 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire from one of the following organizations - American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke
