The Radiation Therapy Specialist is responsible for the safe and precise operation of equipment that delivers ionizing radiation for the treatment of cancerous conditions and other therapeutic applications. This role requires the ability to execute high-quality radiation therapy procedures in accordance with established protocols and under the guidance of the Radiation Oncologist. The specialist will also be tasked with performing essential pretreatment preparations, including simulations and the creation of treatment devices. Proficiency in conducting daily quality assurance checks on linear accelerators and CT simulators is essential.

Essential Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred

- Current CPR certification
- Thorough understanding of operational methods and safety protocols for all equipment that generates ionizing radiation within the department
- Capability to manage radiation sources safely
