Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Memorial Medical Center. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality radiation therapy to patients with neoplastic diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment delivering ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes
  • Perform radiation therapy procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner
  • Carry out pretreatment preparations, including simulations and fabrication of treatment devices
  • Perform daily morning QA on linear accelerators and CT simulator

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Radiation Therapy preferred
  • Graduate of an approved program in Radiation Therapy
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and licensed by the state of New Mexico or eligible for licensure
  • CPR certification required
  • Knowledgeable of operation methods and safety standards of all equipment producing ionizing radiation within the department
  • Ability to handle radiation sources
