As a key member of our healthcare team, the Certified Medical Assistant will provide clinical and clerical support to our medical staff, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide clinical support to medical staff, including patient rooming, vital sign collection, and preparation of patients for procedures.
- Assist with medical procedures, cleaning of equipment, and chart preparation.
- Obtain referral notes, images, and lab results prior to patient visits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective communication and patient care.
**Requirements:**
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification/Registration as a CMA or RMA through one of the national certifying organizations required.
- BLS/AED certification is required and must be maintained.
- Minimum of 3 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
