Key Responsibilities
  • Assist culinary staff in meeting daily operation goals by preparing quality products for guest consumption and enjoyment.
  • Ensure that all food is properly flavored and cooked in a timely manner while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for all associates.
  • Perform food preparation, meat and seafood fabrication, saluting, grilling, and frying of food.
  • Prepares sufficient quantities of food product in accordance with production plans or forecast needs.
  • Wraps, dates, and rotates food items.
  • Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.
  • Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner.
  • Requisitions inventory and receives supplies as necessary for daily production.
  • Ensures proper storage of food items.
  • Performs as expeditor during peak meal periods.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Ability to function and be flexible in a changing environment.
  • Demonstrates safe work habits.
  • Current food safety certification.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Willingness to work and be a part of a team is essential.
