We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to play a crucial role in the development and execution of Non-Process Infrastructure projects. This position is pivotal for enhancing accommodation facilities, dining areas, and power/communication upgrades within our Sustaining Capital team.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the planning, coordination, and management of multiple concurrent projects.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with business objectives and regulatory standards, adhering to time and budget constraints.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project delivery team and construction personnel.
- Facilitate effective communication between engineering teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve project challenges.
- Manage project variations by assessing the impact of scope changes on cost, safety, quality, and timelines.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including management reports and contract documents.
- Implement quality assurance and control measures in compliance with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with Engineering Services and Technical Services to ensure timely execution of all engineering initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Engineering.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) or a related field.
- Experience in both site and office project deliverables.
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Experience in preparing and managing tender documents.
- A background in operational and brownfields environments.
- Familiarity with project execution phases from concept to commissioning.
- Knowledge of project cost control procedures.
