Southcoast Health System is seeking a skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Technician to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing echocardiography procedures to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of various human disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties in Echocardiography
- Provide health services using echocardiography procedures to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of various human disorders
- Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary of medical ethics
- Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure
Requirements:
- An Associates Degree or Certificate from a recognized Echocardiography Program or the equivalent knowledge and experience is required
- Current RDCS registry is required and two (2) years of clinical experience is preferred
- Must be ARDMS or CCI registered within 6 months of employment
- CPR certification is also required
