Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Services Coordinator to join our team at Christ Health Center. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Clinic, you will play a vital role in coordinating mental health services for patients with behavioral health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate mental health services for patients under the direction of our staff psychiatrist.
  • Maintain ongoing contact between patients and providers to facilitate treatment and care.
  • Assist with completing disability forms and other medical forms as requested by patients.
  • Administer routine medications as ordered by the provider (RN only).
  • Order, maintain, and store laboratory supplies and equipment.
  • Draw laboratory tests as ordered by the provider and report test results to patients as directed.
  • Use Telephone Triage Protocols and Crisis Intervention Protocols as guides.
  • Request refills on routine medications and respond to requests for refills from pharmacies.
  • Attend and participate in in-service education for staff, quality assurance program, and risk-management programs.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural setting (Bi-Lingual in Spanish is preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), use of EHR.
  • Bachelors or master's in social work or nursing license.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.
  • 1 year psychiatric or behavioral health experience is preferred.
Working Conditions

This position primarily involves administrative tasks, such as communicating with patients via telephone and the patient portal. The ability to work in a multi-cultural setting and maintain a positive image and relationships is essential.
