Job Opportunity

Samaritan Healthcare is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to provide technical and professional expertise in ultrasound imaging.
  2. Review patient reports and ensure accurate diagnostic exams.
  3. Operate ultrasound equipment and generate high-quality images.
  4. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications.
  5. Provide exceptional patient care and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  6. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Requirements
  1. Graduation from an accredited Sonography program.
  2. One year of acute care Ultrasound Technologist experience.
  3. ARDMS registry in Abdomen or OB/GYN, or eligibility within six months of hire.
  4. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification within three months of hire.
Competencies
  1. Demonstrate expertise in ultrasound equipment and technology.
  2. Apply critical thinking skills to problem-solving and decision-making.
  3. Exhibit accountability and safe judgment in patient care.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
