Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them for optimal image capture.
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations, taking note of any abnormalities or areas of concern.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or a related specialty.
  • 1-2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
