Job Description

The Professional Staff Nurse is a critical member of our care delivery team. As a registered nurse and leader within the hospital, you will be responsible for setting the standard for the level and quality of care provided. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and achieve desired outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Apply knowledge of adult learning principles and teaching techniques to educate patients and families.
  • Participate in unit-based shared governance and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Pennsylvania or compact state.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
