The Licensed Client Relationship Specialist engages with customers to introduce them to Northwest Bank's services, facilitating account openings and identifying their financial requirements. This role necessitates collaboration with various specialists (such as Financial Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and Small Business Experts) to connect clients with the appropriate resources while ensuring a superior customer experience.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Individuals not fully licensed upon hiring will enroll in the Licensed Relationship Manager Development program, temporarily serving as a Personal Banker until they complete the program and pass all necessary licensing examinations. The goal of this Development program is to achieve completion within one year. Actively seek new clients and strengthen existing relationships through outreach and scheduled appointments. Welcome customers as they enter the branch, providing lobby leadership, addressing client inquiries, and understanding their financial wellness objectives. Facilitate the opening of new accounts while identifying cross-selling opportunities and assisting with mortgage, consumer loan, and credit card services in accordance with all bank policies. Uphold Northwest Bank's cultural values by promoting our customers' financial wellness through exceptional service delivery, both proactively and reactively, in person, via phone, and through email. Leverage knowledge of Northwest Bank's technology to educate clients on self-service options, including the Northwest Mobile App and ATMs, enabling them to manage their banking needs conveniently. Complete assigned training and engage in self-directed learning using bank-provided resources. Support office management with Audit Certification requirements as needed. Participate in and occasionally lead morning meetings and end-of-day reviews. Adhere to all Northwest Bank policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism, ethical conduct, and prioritizing the best interests of clients and the bank. Ensure compliance with Northwest Bank's policies and relevant Federal/State regulations. Utilize Microsoft Office and department-specific software to enhance productivity and efficiency. Collaborate effectively as part of a team. Operate on-site equipment as required. Ensure compliance with security protocols and dual control processes, as well as daily branch operations. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven ability to build effective working relationships within a team and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Active listening skills to fully understand client needs and facilitate open communication. Ability to set personal goals, track progress, and effectively utilize resources. Sound judgment and decision-making skills in complex situations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in banking and/or retail preferred. Sales experience is advantageous. Customer service experience is preferred.
