Clinical Laboratory Technologist II/III/IV

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist II/III/IV to join our team at Stony Brook Medicine. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to our patient population and maintaining a high level of quality and safety in our laboratory practices.
Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical analysis and testing in the Department of Laboratories, adhering to established protocols and quality control policies.
- Conduct routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure proper instrument performance.
- Assist in implementing and validating new procedures, and engage in continuing education to enhance the department.
- Interact professionally with nursing staff, physicians, support staff, peers, and other members of the hospital community.
- Perform other clinical duties as assigned, including working every other weekend and passing days and holidays as required.
- NYS licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or documented eligibility, including provisional/limited permit eligibility with 0-2 years demonstrated relevant experience.
- SL-2: NYS licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or documented eligibility, including provisional/limited permit eligibility with 3-5 years demonstrated relevant experience.
- SL-3: NYS licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist or documented eligibility, including provisional/limited permit eligibility with a minimum 6 years demonstrated relevant experience.
- Generalist with a strong background in Hematology and Chemistry.
- ASCP Certification.
- Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology/Biological or Life Sciences.
- Master's Degree.
- A competitive salary range of $87,394 - $110,838 per year.
- Annual supplemental pay, including location pay, night shift differential, and inconvenience pay.
