Key Responsibilities

Located in the System Operations Control Center (SOC), the Airport Operations Control Manager is tasked with the planning, coordination, and recovery of airport operations on the day of departure across Frontier's network, ensuring safe and timely performance. This role serves as the main contact for all escalations related to Airport Customer Service (ACS) operations. By collaborating with local airport operations teams and internal/external stakeholders within the SOC, this position is essential in maintaining business continuity at the airport level and represents the ACS organization within the SOC.

Primary Duties
  • Oversee and direct all ACS functions within the SOC, focusing on business continuity and safe, on-time operations.
  • Manage, communicate, and coordinate daily airport operations, aiming to maximize customer service while ensuring operational performance.
  • Work closely with the SOC Senior Manager/Director and ACS Leadership to ensure efficient daily operations and operational readiness.
  • Communicate operational decisions and options to local airport leadership teams, assessing the impact of decisions on airport operations.
  • Proactively address airport-related operational concerns to the appropriate SOC leader.
  • Provide operational guidance to stations during both regular and irregular operations, including proactive management of resources.
  • Lead during irregular operations, including escalating issues to the appropriate departments and facilitating communication between the SOC and local airports.
  • Coordinate and communicate airport-related constraints across the Frontier network, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Act as a key communication point during emergency responses.
  • Evaluate potential cancellations, delays, and equipment changes in coordination with the SOC Manager.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of flight information to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor weather conditions that may affect operations and communicate disruption plans accordingly.
  • Prepare daily reports on delays for management review.
  • Relay operational information to flight crews, ground crews, and maintenance teams as necessary.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all departments within the SOC and the ACS Organization.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.
  • Complete other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in airline operations, customer service, or ground services.
  • Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal (Spanish preferred).
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage ongoing tasks.
  • Strong understanding of customer service, ramp service, deicing, and airline operations.
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
