Research Medical Center is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist II PRN to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing sonography procedures, including routine and interventional sonograms, under the direction of a Radiologist.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform sonography procedures, including routine and interventional sonograms, under the direction of a Radiologist.
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities.
- Work within the guidelines established in the policies and procedure manual and comply with all safety and infection control guidelines.
- Work in accordance with JCAHO, State or other regulatory or accreditation agencies in the performance of duties.
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and/or School of Sonography.
- Current registration/licensure/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Must be registered in vascular and a minimum of two of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abdomen or Breast.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one-year hospital department experience in medical sonography to include biopsies.
