Job Title: PT Server

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic hospitality professional to join our team at the Beauport Hotel. As a PT Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare for service by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Provide detailed menu descriptions and take accurate orders from guests.
  • Inquire throughout the meal to ensure guest satisfaction and make recommendations as needed.
  • Adhere to proper cash handling procedures and settle all charges.
  • Communicate daily specials and specialty menu items to guests.
  • Complete all opening and closing side work, cleaning checklists, and duties related to the shift.
  • Participate in daily staff meetings and departmental training meetings.
Working Environment:
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time.
  • Ability to walk/stand approximately 90% of shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuous basis.
  • Exposure to sun, heat, cold, and changing weather conditions.
Requirements:
  • Ability to upsell and cross-sell all hotel services.
  • Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English Language. A second language is desirable.
  • Familiarity with industry-relevant Point of Sales systems.
  • Ability to practice and adhere to all safety requirements.
