Position Overview

As a Clinical Surgical Registered Nurse (CS RN), your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional care to adult patients experiencing a range of medical issues and recuperating from surgical procedures. Within the Surgical Care unit of a healthcare organization, you will be integral in facilitating patient recovery prior to their release. CS RNs are recognized for managing a substantial patient load, catering to varied patient demographics, and demonstrating flexibility in the ever-evolving nursing landscape. While the majority of CS RNs operate within hospital Surgical Care units, there are also opportunities available in alternative environments such as health camps, outpatient clinics, educational institutions, and ambulatory care facilities.

Qualifications/Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year Degree
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year Degree
  • Completion of an ADN or BSN program and successful passage of the NCLEX examination are essential for acquiring an RN license.
  • An active RN license in the respective state is mandatory.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be necessary.

Additional Qualifications

  • BSN degree is required
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience is essential
  • Willingness to engage in a 13-week contract with adaptable scheduling is expected
  • Per Diem shifts are available, contingent upon recent experience
