Job Summary:

The Nurse Manager of Outpatient Surgery is responsible for the supervision, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care provided on the assigned unit. This includes maintaining 24-hour responsibility for the unit, coordinating and supervising activities that support safe and efficient delivery of care, and assisting the Director in implementing Performance Improvement activities and hospital policies/procedures.

Requirements:
  • TX RN License or RN Compact State License.
  • BLS from approved HCA vendor.
  • ACLS from approved HCA vendor.
  • PALS from approved HCA vendor.
  • BSN required.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a staff nurse in the operating room or other surgical area.
  • Prior management experience preferred or demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership role.
