Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team at Swedish Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts.
  • Perform x-ray therapy on patients under the supervision of a Radiologist.
  • Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Work with patients in various settings, including the emergency department, hospital, and outpatient clinics.
  • Maintain expert technical and patient-care skills to provide quality diagnostic results.
Requirements
  • Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
  • Maintenance of current registry through continuing education activities.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting patients and equipment up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of recent acute care experience.
