Job Summary

This Radiology Technologist Cross Train PRN position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiologic technology and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Provide excellent patient care, including education and support
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
Requirements
  • Registered technologist with current certification by ARRT (R) or RCIS and CE compliance
  • Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC
  • Graduate of AMA-approved school of radiologic technology
  • 2 years of previous diagnostic experience in an acute care facility desirable
