Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Tallahassee, Florida.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines, to produce high-quality images.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols and disposing of hazardous materials.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (CRT) or Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
