Quality Assurance Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at Apollo Professional Solutions, Inc. in Aliso Viejo, CA. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement testing strategies and plans
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of software products
  • Identify and report defects and issues to development teams, and work with them to resolve these issues
  • Conduct testing on software products across various platforms, including mobile and desktop devices
  • Utilize online testing tools and emulators to simulate real-world testing scenarios
  • Communicate testing results and progress to project managers, developers, and design teams
  • Develop and maintain regression test criteria and execute regression tests after each release
  • Perform verification of issues to ensure they persist consistently
  • Perform final bug fix verification tests after issues have been resolved
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in a QA/testing role
  • Experience working in an agency/vendor-side environment
  • Ability to understand the basics of how a website is architected and identify the likely source of an issue
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and ability to test CMS functionality
  • Proactive communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a Scrum environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Ability to pivot and work effectively in different project management styles
  • Experience using JIRA and Azure DevOps for issue management
