ROLE SUMMARY:
In the position of Refrigerated Unit Technician at Beltway Companies, your primary responsibilities will include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing refrigerated units and associated systems. Your skills will play a crucial role in optimizing the performance and dependability of our clients' fleets of diesel vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on diesel truck refrigeration units.
- Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems within refrigeration systems.
- Perform system performance evaluations and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Replace or repair defective components in refrigeration units.
- Keep precise maintenance and repair documentation.
- Coordinate with the fleet management team for scheduling repairs.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and advancements in refrigeration technology.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of diesel truck refrigeration units.
- Comprehensive understanding of refrigeration systems and their components.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and software specific to refrigeration units.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Daytime hours, Monday to Friday, In-Person
